Perpetual Stock Method - Awesome

Looks like a great method for stock that I intend to put to good use. I will probably use beef bones though (feet, oxtail, marrow, etc) and go for local farms.

jacobjoaquin:

“This morning, Speaker Pro Tempore Michael Fitzpatrick (R-PA), under orders from Speaker Boehner, refused to allow Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer to speak on the floor and ask for unanimous consent to bring up the Senate bipartisan compromise to extend the payroll tax cut. Whip Hoyer and Congressman Chris Van Hollen are continuing to try to offer the Senate compromise even though Republicans walked off the floor.”

Well, that’s an embarrassment.

  • Abraham: Of course. Have a good night last night?
  • Michonne: Not really. I'm pretty lonely.
  • Abraham: Holy shit...I was just making conversation. I didn't expect you to be depressingly honest.

H.R. 3261 (aka “SOPA”)

You may have heard about it, probably in a negative light. If you heard about it in a positive light, you were speaking to what is professionally known as an idiot.

This act does nothing productive and breaks that fabric of the internet itself. All of the provisions of the act (read: DNS blocking) are able to be circumvented by anybody with a rudimentary knowledge of computers and it represents an ungodly governmental (and corporate) intrusion into our lives and the lives of people around the world.

A quote to highlight the dangers of this act and how ridiculous the idea is that Congress can regulate something like this:
“You want to explain to me why we have a bunch of 50-to-70-somethings debating a bill that would affect the internet worldwide…you want to tell me that these guys who can barely use a keyboard should be debating this and passing legislation of this magnitude? I’m going to go with no. It’s like putting toddlers at the controls of a 747, but not just a 747, but every 747, 777, Airbus A320…every aircraft in the world. No, but that’s what’s happing here, and it’s dangerous.” –John Bain (aka TotalBiscuit)

And there’s a hearing tomorrow. It’s only supporters are Universal Media and a slew of other big names who are “Anti”-Piracy (for that reference, you’ll need to read the latest articles showing that big media companies do a lot of pirating themselves). Sure, piracy is a problem, but this is a cure worse than the affliction. All of your favorite sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit will be affected by this if it should pass.

Sign some petitions and talk to a/your legislator. This is stupid.
